Lye in the Water
by, Estella Finn

When Tadhg crashes his motorcycle in a desolate landscape, a mysterious and beautiful woman comes to his rescue.  However, looking closer he sees that her face is scarred and disfigured.  She tells him there was "lye in the water."

Tadhg is lost in the "armpit of nowhere" and can't find the road leading out of town.

Lye in the Water is an Expressionistic play tragically weaving dishonesty, love, violence, family,  death, incredulity and the art of being lost.

Love for Love
by, William Congreve

Valentine is a lover; in love with one and has loved many.  He has frivolously collected debt and has chosen to avoid paying his debtors by becoming a recluse and reading literature and philosophy, a past time seen as unproductive by his servant and his best friend, Scandal.

Mistaken identity, disguises, deception, and of course ~ love ~ drive this comedy's underlying themes of gender roles, sexual ethics, good government and the difference of being sophisticated and appearing sophisticated.

Love for Love is a Restoration Era comedy full of racy, bawdy situations sure to delight literary individuals and gluttons for comedy alike!
